About Lauren Borisoff
Upon graduating Cornell University, Lauren started her career in NYC as a furniture and lighting designer at Polo Ralph Lauren. Here, she fell in love with antiques and the classics and will always remember Ralph's mesmerizing way to create stories around his collections. After 6 years, in Polo’s creative services, she worked as the Decorative and Branding Manager for Hilton Hotel’s luxury brands. She later teamed up with Starwood and Hilton's Creative director to work on interior design and branding projects with firms like Starwood Residential and The Agency.
After working with industry giants like Philippe Starck, Rockwell Group, and Jose Andres, and directing all of SBE Entertainment’s interior design projects nationwide (some of which include SLS, Mondrian, and Delano Hotels), Lauren decided to launch her own firm, Borisoff Design Studio. Lauren believes design needs to be approached from an aesthetic, experiential, and operational perspective for it to be successful. The goal is to always create a custom environment that provides guests with experiences and memories that make them wanting to keep coming back. Her passion for her work is seen from start to finish on every project; every last detail and layer is important
